I don't think there's an art class that focuses on the real meaning of art anymore, haha. But I'm not about to start one.

And no problem at all, I love giving it!
~saeto15:iconsaeto15: Jan 30, 2008, 5:31:02 PM
See, I think that's what makes a good illustrator: you let the viewer ultimately decide what's going on. I had a horrible fine arts class last semester that focused on 'deep' concepts and crap that just drove me nuts. /rant :D

Anyway, thanks for your comments. I really appreciate getting constructive feedback. :D

I have so much to say, but that would take a good amount of space and time to get it all down.

To simplify...

You draw wildlife very accurately, and yet there's a hint of peronality to them.

And that's just considering the first four pictures I see, not to mention the Featured. I opened your gallery and I immediatly found myself immersed in beautifuly detailed artwork.

I don't know if it's because I love to write almost as much as I love to draw, but I like artists who, when they draw, give the veiwer the opportunity to create a mental story of what's happening. And I see that effect in many of your pieces.

I'm also a big element fanatic, so I immediatly fell in love with your elemental dragons.

Please, keep up the excellent work. You can expect to see my face around here many times in the future.

You create some fantastically detailed creatures, especially the dragons, very beautiful.

you've been added to the new dragon artists list :)

if you know anyone you think should be added or would like to be taken off the list please contact me at the journal : Dragon Artists

if you're wondering why there's a new list, the old one kind of died, the new list may be permanent or temporary, depending on whether ~Straga comes back.

if she does update the original i will post a link to it in the new one, so people will still be able to find it

please don't watch me for list updates, they will all be minor and will stay at the back of my journal list, no one's devwatch will show anything.

I don't really know yet- I'm still worrying about paying for this semester, y'know?

I do want to take Illustration Painting, but I still need Life Drawing 2 and Illustration 2. Other than that, I have no clue.

And the turtle's like, on the wall across from the conference room (near Patty's office). It might not be obvious as a turtle at first, I guess. :D
